Unearthing gems in the fields and yards
It’s always interesting to visit our client’s customers, we get to meet some amazing people and see their fantastic businesses. We have recently been in the fields and yards of the East of England talking to a selection of Bailey Trailers customers for our latest ‘Top Tip’ videos.
Even after producing many testimonial videos we leave nothing to chance; our interviewee receives a set of questions tailored to their individual business well in advance of our visit. But, it’s what we get to hear when chatting over a cuppa which can often provide us with a gem or two before the cameras start rolling.
A good example of this is our visit to Tim Russon of Peter Russon & Sons Contracting in Lincolnshire. The business runs a fleet of 26 Bailey trailers and on arrival we knew what trailers Tim was going to be talking to us about, or so we thought. What we didn’t know was the first Bailey trailer they purchased in 1992 is still in use on the farm today!
Providing unquestionable evidence
A similar story was told by Richard Fenton of RJ Fenton, an aggregate contracting business in Leicestershire, who amongst their fleet of Bailey’s still run a Dump Trailer which has provided nearly 20 years of service. Both of these examples provide unquestionable evidence of the longevity of a Bailey trailer, adding significant weight to Bailey’s offering of ‘robust and reliable trailers that keep on going’.
