Loud and proud

It’s always good when a plan comes together and our recent project for Terex Construction and Genie is a great example.

Terex approached Green Square to create a series of ideas for phase one of a new factory branding initiative. As part of a brand report produced by Green Square earlier this year we had suggested ideas to re-fresh their Coventry site.

Our “big idea” was based on injecting more of a sense of pride to all who work at the facility. Coventry has a rich history of automotive engineering expertise, sadly Terex are one of only a few vehicle manufacturers left in the city.

We wanted to remind everyone from employees to visitors alike, that great things are happening within the factory. Terex construction machines and Genie work platforms are exported worldwide and the company is carrying on a long tradition, which is something special and to be justly proud of.

Following a site survey with our large-format production partner we suggested a series of ideas that would transform the areas selected for stage one of the re-brand.

We designed and produced a selection of materials from cut acrylic for reception logos, frosted vinyl for windows and doors, vinyl lettering, foamex panels for timelines and machine images and the highlight being wallpaper for three feature walls the largest of which was seven metres wide!

The wallpapers feature a collection of motivational words and phrases that we chose to serve as a reminder to all concerned that Terex Coventry is a special place to work.

Green Square’s Philip Westwood commented: ‘The result is everything and this work is testament to the time and effort we put in to making sure our clients brands are successful. These graphics are a huge success and we have received some very complimentary feedback. I hope that everyone at the Coventry site looks at these graphics and feels proud of what they are doing, we certainly are.’
