We were recently approached by Macmillan Cancer Support to create the identity for their Cove Macmillan Support Centre appeal.
The proposed new centre at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro will provide a dedicated facility for the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The total cost for developing the centre will be approximately £2.8 million. Macmillan need to raise £1 million locally in order to ensure that the required quality standards they expect are met.
Our idea for the appeal icon was derived from the fact that Cornish people are very proud of their identity. Our aim was to make it abundantly clear that this is very much an appeal for the benefit of people living in Cornwall.
To support the campaign launch we designed and produced a series of display materials, leaflets and pledge cards plus an interactive PDF presentation.
