Held in Lincolnshire over 2 days, Cereals is the leading technical event for the UK arable industry with over 64ha of stands and live demonstrations.
Over 470 leading suppliers come together to update 26,900 visitors on the very latest products ranging from seeds to sprayers, crop varieties to cultivation equipment, fertilisers to finance.
Two of Green Square’s clients AGCO and City & Guilds were exhibiting at the event, so Phil Westwood and Steve Mackenzie went along to see what was going on and to show our support for their brands.
What struck us first of all, apart from the sun being out, was the sheer size of the show. We knew it was going to be big but it seemed to have taken over half of the fields in Lincolnshire!
For us these events are always worth attending as not only do we get to spend time with our clients, we also get a good look at their competitors. It can also be a good opportunity to see any display work that we have produced.
Cereals is obviously the place to be if you are serious about arable farming, it represents a fantastic opportunity to learn new technical information and to network with like minded businesses.
I think we’ll be back for Cereals 2013!
