April 14th
Having previously bungee jumped off the Clifton suspension bridge and single line parachuted from 2,000 feet, it’s fair to say that Greensquare’s Victoria Green has a head for heights.
Victoria’s latest thrill saw her complete a sponsored abseil 120ft down Birmingham’s House of Fraser department store in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust.
Victoria raised over £300 for the charity and commented: ‘As a new (ish) Mummy I took the opportunity just short of my gorgeous Sophie’s first birthday to help children far less fortunate than she is. I can hardly bear to imagine what it must be like to be a parent of a child in need the services of a children’s hospice.’
For her next abseil Victoria has her sights set on the National Lift Tower in Northampton which stands at a mere 418ft!
